Bougainvillea (White)
Add clean, elegant beauty to your garden with a White Bougainvillea! Famous for its brilliant, paper-like pure white bracts and tough, climbing vines, this hardy plant is wonderful for decorating sunny walls, fences, or growing in large pots. It thrives in the sun and loves warm weather.
How to Grow & Care
Sunlight: This is the most important step! Your White Bougainvillea needs full, direct sunlight (at least 6 hours a day) to produce its gorgeous, bright bracts.
Soil & Planting: Plant it in loose, well-draining soil. Bougainvillea loves average soil and actually prefers it on the drier side, as it hates sitting in soggy mud.
Watering: Water it regularly when young. Once established, it is very drought-tolerant. In fact, letting the soil dry out between waterings encourages even more flowers!
Feeding (Fertilizer): Feed it with a balanced fertilizer once a month during the spring and summer growing seasons to boost blooming.
Pruning: Prune it lightly after a blooming cycle to control its shape and encourage new branches where the next flowers will grow. (Watch out for sharp thorns!)
What You Receive: 1 healthy, ready-to-plant White Bougainvillea sapling.
