Watering: Water them regularly when they are young. Once established, they are quite drought-tolerant, but keep the soil slightly moist during dry spells.
Feeding: Do not use heavy fertilizer! Cosmos actually prefer poor to medium soil. Too much food will give you tall green leaves instead of flowers.

How to Get More Flowers: Snip off old, faded flowers (deadheading). This is the secret trick to force the plant to produce a constant wave of fresh new blooms!
Pruning & Care: Very easy to grow. If the plants get too tall or floppy, you can gently cut back the top tips to encourage a bushier shape.
