How to Grow & Care
Sunlight: Football Lilies prefer bright, indirect sunlight or partial shade. Keep them away from harsh, direct afternoon sun, which can easily burn their soft leaves.
Soil & Planting: Plant the bulb in loose, well-draining soil. Plant it near the surface so the very top or neck of the bulb is just slightly showing above the soil line.
Watering: Water regularly during the growing and blooming season to keep the soil lightly moist. Avoid overwatering, as the bulb can rot if it sits in soggy mud.
Feeding (Fertilizer): Feed it with a balanced liquid plant food once a month while it is actively growing and flowering to keep it healthy.
Winter Care (Dormancy): After blooming, the leaves will eventually turn yellow and die back. Don't worry, the plant is just going to sleep (dormancy)! Stop watering and let the bulb rest in the soil until new growth naturally starts again in the spring.
